Current NewsGlows in the Dark client, Home Anthology, a store specializing in mid-century modern furniture, was recently featured in an article in The New York Times about business in nearby Oella, Maryland. The article resulted in a nearly 300% increase in site visitors. By providing the American Gaming Association's (AGA) site visitors with quicker access to desired information, Glows increased the value of the AGA's site to their visitors, resulting in an almost 100% increase in site visits in less than two months. On Nov. 2, PARADE Magazine published an article about one of our clients, Faith in Action, resulting in nearly half a million hits in less than a week! Glows in the Dark released the re-design of their award winning site for the AGA. The new site features tighter integration with Glows|DMS 3.5, Glows in the Dark's data and content management system. This makes it easier for AGA staff to provide their visitors with up-to-date information, while integrating Glows|DMS' new, powerful metadata capabilities makes it easier for visitors to find that information. Parents, teachers and administrators are now able to quickly, accurately and cost-effectively update news items, calendars, class Web sites, academic information and every other aspect of the newly designed Web site. Glows|DMS' unique data-centric approach to content management and its ability to separate content from structure allows for the integration of content and data management to Flash MX projects. All aspects of this site, including the Flash content, was updateable from the Baltimore Convention Center's floor using Glows|DMS and a wireless connection. The National Center for Responsible Gaming is the leading source of science-based research and information on gambling and health. By integrating Glows|DMS 3.5 with a straightforward design, site visitors are now better able to find timely and accurate information that promotes the advancement of education, prevention, treatment and public policy. Glows|DMS was chosen by Faith in Action, a national program of The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, to replace a costly and awkward Lotus Notes-based implimentation of their Extranet. Glows in the Dark was able to provide increased functionality and a more productive interface for half the cost and in one tenth of the time of their previous solution. The Faith in Action Extranet is used to provide its users with worldwide access to resources, event information, forums of discussion and other information. Glows in the Dark provides Faith in Action, a national program of The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, with cleaner navigation, increased content management capability and lowered maintenance fees by integrating version 3.0 of Glows|DMS to their existing Web site. Content managers are now able to update all aspects of the Web site themselves without effecting the sites structure or design and without prior knowledge of HTML.
