Glows in the Dark

Design to Award Your Visitors;
Not to Win Awards

Our award winning designers have over 25 years of experience creating interactive content and have focused almost entirely on Web-based communications since 1994.

We are proud of the fact that since that time we have never forced our customer?s customers to sit through an animated marketing presentation in order to get a simple piece of information such as a phone number. We have never forced someone to download a plug-in or ?shift into a new thought paradigm? in order to navigate a Web site in a really ?cool? way. And we have never blown a budget by creating three separate sites in order to support some new technological flavor of the week as yet not supported by all browsers.

Why? Our design philosophy is simple, design for the end user?the people who use the Web?they are the true client. For most of our customers, using the Web is about seeking information and finding it quickly and easily. A Web site is a success when it connects your users to your content in a way that leaves them feeling good and hungry for more?not frustrated.

We are in business to help your business. To that end, we design straightforward, easy to navigate Web sites with the focus on site architecture and content. Visual design is used as a facilitator to a clear and consistent interactive experience, thus enhancing the professional image and marketing message of our clients to their customers.

Sites developed by Glows in the Dark have been featured in The New York Times, USA Today, PARADE, The Baltimore Sun, Netscape?s ?What?s Hot? list, and the Cool Site of the Day. Additionally, many sites have won awards because of their ease of navigation, depth of content and consistency of marketing message.
