Glows in the Dark

Technology Should Support Content;
Not Detract From It

Technology is what the Web is all about, right? Not here.

At Glows in the Dark, we approach the ever changing technological morass that is the Internet with caution and a skeptical eye towards unproven, non-standard technology.

Sure, it may mean that we don?t need to re-design your Web site every six months to ?take advantage? of the newest browser?s ?capabilities.? It may also mean that there is only one version of your site to update and manage instead of an HTML version, a Flash version, a version for Macintosh users, and a version for Windows users, etc. It may even mean that the site you have invested your time and money in could actually have a shelf life of over three years!

But these are good things, right?

We think so. That is why our developers spend a lot of time researching new and ?old? technology alike to determine what technological solutions best support a site?s content.

Our development team has over forty years combined experience with database development and integration, HTML, DHTML, ColdFusion, JavaScript, Jscript, C, ASP and other programming languages. This experience has given us a head start on making mistakes and learning from them, grasping the next big thing and getting burned, and a host of other pitfalls involved with working within an ever evolving medium. We?re over it?all over it.
